“Work’ Work – A Shared Place

by just 'Hooper'

Last year I ran a community Arts project for Culture Liverpool and the PCT. The project, called ‘A Shared Place’ focused on health and wellbeing in South Liverpool and among the 10 or so different projects were these ‘Five a Day Faces’. I worked with some Primary School Kids in Belle Vale to paint the fruit and veg pictures and then passed them over to my wife, Jo Moon – also an illustrator, to turn them into their active personas. The pieces became a set of free standing ‘Seaside Head through the Hole’ displays around sites in Liverpool. Visit the site to see the full range of activities and projects that took place!

Jo mostly works on pre-school titles and has a lovely colourful bold style – check out her website.
